To look at Blake Shelton today, you wouldn’t really think that he was a blond-haired little boy, but he was.

Blake posted an adorable picture of himself as a kid on Instagram, and he looks like he’s about maybe five or six. He captioned the image, “Keeping things country… you know how it goes.”

One fan reacted to the post by writing, “You are the cutest cowboy.”

Another fan named Michelle Shannon, who on her Instagram it notes she’s from “Small-town Oklahoma” and seems to have known Blake as a boy, also commented, saying, “The Blake I remember when we were kids💙.”
