Eric Church Cancels A Show To Watch NCAA Final Four Game
Eric Church sent out a message to his fans, known as the Church choir, that he has canceled a show in San Antonio on Saturday (April 2) to watch the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Duke Blue Devils play this Saturday in the Final Four.
Church wrote in part, “As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years, but to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream.”
He added, “This is also the most selfish thing I’ve ever asked the Choir (his fan club) to do: to give up Saturday night plans with us so I can have this moment with my family and sports community.”
Ticketmaster is providing full refunds.
