Mickey Guyton is the latest celebrity to host Ellen, and the show airs today (3/3). The show was pretaped; the guests included Jimmie Allen and Priscilla Block. 

Guyton talked to Allen about his Grammy nomination for the all-genre Best New Artist. He offered, “It took a while to process because a Grammy is something they can never take away. Win or lose, you have to say ‘Grammy nominee.'” 

Mickey and Jimmie also played what she dubbed “Ellen’s favorite game” called “Five-Second Rule.” In the game, Guyton was told to name three words used in country songs, to which she responded, “Beer, truck, beer.” 

Mickey posted to Twitter, “I literally cannot. It is a dream come true for me to share that I will be guest hosting @TheEllenShow tomorrow, March 3rd!!! 🤍 Thank you Ellen for this incredible opportunity.”
