Thomas Rhett Will ‘One Hundred Percent’ Adopt Again
Like most country music stars, Thomas Rhett spent his weekend in Las Vegas rehearsing for his performance on tonight’s (3/7) ACM Awards, where he is a multiple nominee.
With touring, making music, and being a father to four daughters already, Thomas and his wife Lauren are busy parents, but that won’t stop them from adopting once more.
The couple adopted their daughter Willa Gray, and Rhett says that they plan on adding at least one more child. Rhett said when asked about adopting once again, “A hundred percent. I think right now, with four under six, I think Lauren and I were really honest with each other, and we were just like, let’s take a pause for four or five years and kinda get the hang of what this is gonna look like. But yes, adoption is a hundred percent on our brains in the next four to five years.”
He added, “We would love to do that. And Willa Gray talks about it all the time, and it’s something that it’s been put on our hearts very heavily to do that again. We just don’t really know when.”
Thomas posted a few photos from his ACM rehearsals to his Instagram. He captioned the images, “Rehearsed and ready to go! Y’all tune in to the @acmawards tomorrow at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT on @primevideo. #ACMawards.”
