Garth Brooks And Trisha Yearwood ‘Stand Up For Ukraine’
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are showing their support for the people of Ukraine by joining countless others to “Stand Up For Ukraine.”
The couple is participating in what’s being billed by organizers as “the world’s largest digital rally with artists, athletes, and actors to show that we Stand Up For Ukraine.”
The goal of Global Citizen is to hopefully raise billions of dollars to assist refugees displaced by the current conflict in Ukraine…not only via donations but also by encouraging individuals to help fill social media today (4/8).
Trisha said in a press release, “I can’t do anything public without saying, ‘Stand for Ukraine.’ We love you. The world is with you. Stay strong.”
Garth added, “These people have nothing. Anything they had has been taken away. So – it doesn’t matter [how much]…just contribute. That’s what we’re all gonna do. Hopefully, soon then, these people can try to somehow get back to some kind of normal life. Just pray that it stops here – for the people of Ukraine, for the people of Russia, for all of us.”
