Tim McGraw’s Mom Gave Fans At His Show Pretty Great Ticket Upgrades

Tim McGraw was playing a show in Jacksonville, Florida, on Mother’s Day (5/8), and his mom Betty just happened to be on the road with him, so he put her to work before his show started.

Tim posted a video of him and his mother on Instagram about his mom going out into the audience and giving some moms a few tickets to upgrade their seats to the front row. The clip shows Betty talking to and taking pictures with fans. He later brought his mom out on stage during the show.

He captioned the video clip, “Thanx to my Mama for helping surprise a few fans in Jacksonville! Happy Mothers Day to the women who keep me in line and all the amazing moms out there!”

  This is my all-time favorite song from McGraw and I’ll share something personal about it: When my son was about eight, we found this song together and as we drove around Nashville, he was always my “Shotgun Rider.” My boy knew every word of the song and I later asked McGraw himself why I couldn’t get this out of my head and he simply said, “Connection. This song gives you connection.” It sure does.
