Carrie Underwood Doesn’t Sing Love Songs: ‘I Would Rather Kill A Dude’

Carrie Underwood has many revenge songs, including “Two Black Cadillacs, “Before He Cheats,” “Blown Away.” Carrie told Amazon about that her new album Denim & Rhinestones doesn’t have a love song on it. She said, “I don’t sing love songs. I would rather kill a dude than talk about how much I love them. It’s true. I just love the strong character that doesn’t take anything from anybody.”

She added, “And even if it’s kind of in a different way like you think about ‘Ghost Story,’ you know she’s not doing anything to get revenge on this guy. It’s just like, ‘I’m just telling you that you’re gonna want me back and I’m not gonna be there.'”

• 20. “I Told You So” (featuring Randy Travis) (2009)

  Randy Travis first recorded this song for his 1983 "Live at the Nashville Palace" under his stage name at the time, "Randy Ray."
