Elle King is hosting the CMA’s upcoming TV special on CMA Fest on ABC, and before she took the stage to perform with Dierks Bentley at CMA Fest on Sunday night (6/12), she confessed that, well, she’s a little obsessed with Keith Urban.
Elle said backstage at CMA Fest, “My favorite moment of CMA Fest was definitely getting to see Keith Urban. I was very close to him; that was pretty cool (laughs).”
She joked, “Normally, they wouldn’t let me near him, so that was cool. I got to introduce him and I got to see the stretches he does before he goes on stage. I looked at my fiance, and I said, ‘Don’t embarrass me, don’t get us kicked out of here.'”
King and Bentley host the ABC CMA Fest TV special, which will air on August 3, 2022.
