Cops Called Over a Baby Name?

What’s the worst that could happen? If you are about to have a baby you know that naming your son or daughter is both thrilling and a little scary. “What…

What's the worst that could happen?

If you are about to have a baby you know that naming your son or daughter is both thrilling and a little scary. "What if people hate the name I love?" you are probably thinking. "What if I like the name now but hate it later!"

Relax, you probably can’t screw it up so bad that the cops are called on you right? RIGHT?!

Well.....

Nurses on reddit were asked what the worst name they had ever heard for a baby was. Apparently one mother was going to name her baby "Monster Galileo". Their last name was Galileo so the baby’s first name would have been Monster. The nurse pleaded with them to not name their child “Monster” but they persisted. She called Child Services and they talked to the parents. They now just call the kid Galileo.

So before you think you can name your kid whatever you want because they are, you know, YOUR kid think again. Try to name your kid something too cool and the cops will be called on you.

Extra thoughts:

1. So the kids' name is Galileo Galileo? Unless his friends are big Queen fans I don't see this ending well for him. "Monster" seems like a much better name.

2. Just think of how cool It would to be named "Monster"! In grade school no would mess with you and in high school you would be the king of the outcasts and all the hot goth girls would be crawling over each other to date you...scratching each other with their black nail-polish fingernails. (I may have some unresolved issues with a girl named Bethany from high school that I am transferring on to young Monster Gallileo here.)
