The Most Searched Fast Food Restaurant in New England Is
Burgers, fries, tacos, maybe even chicken? One way to find out the top fast food restaurant in New England is to look at the Google searches.
It may come as no surprise that the fast food restaurant with the most searches in five out of the six New England states is Chik-fil-A.
With the rapid expansion of Chik-fil-A, especially here in Massachusetts, it’s no wonder the 6-day-a-week fried chicken franchise tops the search results here in the Bay State (as well as New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine.)
MyTelescope measured how the top 10 fast food chains in each state rank according to Google search volume when users search for the chain’s locations statewide known as Share of Search.
In fact, Chik-fil-A was the top fast food restaurant search in 27 of the 50 states, good for #1 in the country, according to search marketing company MyTelescope.
“Share of search measures search data combined with sentiment analysis to give a more accurate measurement of consumer and business purchasing intent and demand,” said Rodrigo Graviz, CEO of My Telescope.
“When combined with specific keywords, Share of Search data can give valuable insights on what people are going to do, what they think, how they feel, and what they’re going to buy.”
While this Share of Search seems like a pretty detailed metric, there are other ways to see how popular a fast food place is, like length of drive thru lines. Have you ever seen an empty Chik-fil-A drive thru in New England? Sunday’s don’t count.
