On Monday's The Voicea local singer/songwriter earned two chair turns. Cara Brindisi from Worcester, Massachusetts had to chose between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's teams. Tough choice to have, right? Just before Cara hit the stage Blake shared that he was feeling like the next artist would bring him some country sunshine. He had no idea what was to come, or that he would have to fight his wife to win over this talented contestant.

The music therapist from "Wooster," as Shelton referred to it, performed Taylor Swift's "All Too Well" for her Blind Audition. Both Blake and Gwen turned their signature red chairs about halfway through the performance. Her vocals were pure, and delivered with care and precision. Earlier, Cara had expressed that Blake would be her #1 choice, if he turned his chair. But, when the time came to name her coach, she ultimately chose Team Gwen! Perhaps it was Gwen's persuasive words that changed Cara's mind. Gwen told the contestant, "I love storytelling. I love just putting your heart into a song and being able to relate to something that someone went through and then letting the vocal take you there. I don’t think that it matters about the genre as much as it matters about the heart. Music is the vessel to that, and I would love to work with you."

Cara's story is powerful. She is a board-certified music therapist for those in hospice care, as well as for Alzheimer's patients and those living with erebral palsy and Down syndrome. Her inspiration to pursue this career was her grandfather, who had Alzheimer's. Wishing the best of luck to our Massachusetts contestant in the competition.sn to the battle rounds, Onward and upward to the Battle Rounds, Cara!

Be sure and watch her beautiful performance, here.

There is never a dull moment when Blake is on stage or TV. He certainly is a colorful character!  Let's take a look at some of Blake's most colorful moments.

It's pretty well known, at least in Nashville, that blue is the color Blake Shelton likes to wear the most. We journalists used to tease him about every one of his shirts being a shade of blue.

So as a bit of a challenge and we had to go back a few years in his career to find pictures of him not wearing blue, Here, we showcase the times when Shelton wore a different color, just because we can.
