3 of Massachusetts’ 20 Bed Bath & Beyond Stores To Close Permanently

Bed Bath & Beyond announced in August that it will be closing around 150 stores and laying off 20% of it’s workforce as a part of a financial restructuring. We now know which Massachusetts locations will close. 3 Bay State locations are on the list – Dorchester, Milford, and Seekonk. The closing dates have yet to be announced but our thoughts are with anybody whose jobs will be affected as a result.

5 More Massachusetts Bed Bath & Beyond Locations Are Closing For Good

With Bankruptcy looming, Bed Bath & Beyond made the unfortunate announcement that they will be closing another 87 stores including 5 locations in Massachusetts. The news comes months after an initial 3 Massachusetts locations were set to close, which at this point have occurred.

This will take the struggling retailer from 20 locations before the initial closings down to 12 here in the Bay State. The additional 5 locations are set to close in 2023, though the closings could happen relatively quickly now that they’ve been announced.

Below are all 20 Massachusetts Bed Bath & Beyond locations. I’ve marked the 3 that recently closed and the 5 which have been announced to be closing by the company in 2023. It’s sad to see a brand that has seemed so healthy for years struggle to find it’s footing.
