Hardy Injured In Overturned Bus Crash Near Nashville
Hardy and some of his crew were involved in a Sunday (10/2) bus crash returning from a show in Bristol, Tennessee. He took to his social media to share details that he was injured and hospitalized after the crash.
Hardy wrote on Instagram, “Following tonight’s show, our tour bus was in an accident on our way home from Bristol. There were just four of us, including myself; however, we were all treated for significant injuries. Our friend and bus driver needs your prayers as he is still in the hospital. His family is with him while he is being treated, and we’re all pulling and praying for him.”
He continued, “I’ve been released from the hospital, but ordered by doctors to recover for the next few weeks, which may cost us at a couple of shows.”
Hardy concluded, “My team and I will keep the fans updated on that as I rest in the coming days. Please keep our road family in your prayers, and I promise to keep you updated in the days to follow. God bless our medics and local and state officials for their quick response and incredible service.”
Many country superstars commented on the post, including Miranda Lambert, who wrote, “Prayers.” Thomas Rhett commented, “Dang, man. Prayers of healing for you and your crew.”
In response to the post, Luke Combs said, “Damn bud, Scary stuff. Hope y’all get healed up.” Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild wrote, “Sending love and prayers. So sorry!!!” And Jon Pardi said, “Sorry to hear this, bud. That’s scary stuff. Prayers up! Get some rest.”
According to The Tennessean, Hardy’s tour bus overturned on a portion of Interstate 40 West near Nashville at the Wilson and Davidson County line at approximately 2:30 AM CT, Sunday, October 2.
