Trace Adkins Called Ahead Of His Show At The Topsfield Fair
Country music legend Trace Adkins is coming to the Topsfield Fair this Friday night. Tickets are available HERE, and the show is free with your admission ticket! Trace has had a long, storied career. It all started in 1996 with his debut album, Dreamin’ Out Loud. That album launched Adkins’ career with 3 top 5 hits:”Every Light In The House Is On,” “(This Ain’t )No Thinkin’ Thing,” and “I Left Something Turned On at Home.” Since then, the 6’6″ superstar has gone on to release 10 more studio albums, and 2 Greatest Hits collections. All tallied, Trace has more than 20 singles that have entered the Billbboard country charts. Trace is probably best known for his #1 hits, “You’re Gonna Miss This.” and “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”
Now, you can count TV star among Adkins’ accomplishments. He currently has a hit musical drama series on FOX TV. Monarch is a show about a country music family dynasty, lead by Dottie and Albie Roman. Trace stars as Albie, opposite Susan Sarrandon, who plays Dottie. You can watch Monarch locally on Boston 25, WFXT on Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm.
Trace Adkins called me to talk about his concert at Topsfield on Friday. By the way, he had heard about the history of the Topsfield Fair, and even mentioned it. We chatted about his new TV show, football and his 5 daughters. Trace brought up his good friend, and 2 time collaborator, Blake Shelton. Find out what he said about trying to get Blake on his new FOX show!
