A Cereal That Magically Cools Your Mouth? It’s REAL And It’s Kellogg’s ‘Elf On The Shelf’
This seem so futuristic, or even cartoonistic. But it’s real, and it’s happening on our grocery store shelves. Kellogg’s is ramping up for the holiday season with a new cereal. “Elf on the Shelf North Pole Snow Creme Cereal” is a mouthful to say. It’s also going to feature a new technology that will tingle your tongue. According to an article in Parade, Kellogg’s press release read: “Introducing Kellogg’s® The Elf on the Shelf® North Pole Snow Creme Cereal, our first-ever cereal that deliciously cools your mouth as you enjoy it.” The article also said this cereal will be available exclusively at Walmart starting in the next couple of weeks.
What else is in it? Kellogg’s new additon to the Elf on the Shelf cereal collection mixes frosted stars with mini marshmallows. And according to the company, “Each spoonful will remind you of creamy, sweet, vanilla ice cream. But what they are most excited about is the new technology, which is describe by Kellogg’s as a ” special, slow-release flavor ingredient that awakens the senses.” Reportedly, it’ll feel like you are taking a bite out of a “fresh made snowball!”
