Kelsea Ballerini’s ‘Cringey’ Stage Moment, Wardrobe Malfunction

Kelsea Ballerini took to Instagram and TikTok to post about a recent stage moment when fans were cheering her on while she was  doing some dance moves while her fly was down.

Chelsea posted her commentary alongside of the “Zippergate” video clip. “It’s the fact that I thought they were screaming for the song. It’s the fact that I was serving moves for me.”

She captioned the TikTok post, “RETIRING BYE YALL.” Over 500 people commented on the post, including one fan who wrote, “One time I saw Kelsea Ballerini wear jeans with the zipper down, and now I wear jeans with the zipper down.” Another fan shared laughing emojis and commented, “Made my day.”

Ballerini also posted the clip to Instagram, writing, “happy cringey Monday this is my retirement announcement #zippergate.” Fans also commented there, with one saying, “but solid recovery.” Another fan observed, “The quick change gods said, ‘you’re getting too good at this, have a dash of oops.'”

Kelsea has three more shows on her “Heartfirst” ten-city tour this week as she wraps.

Ballerini recently documented her crazy release week for her latest album, Subject To Change, which came out on September 23. She posted several photos on Instagram recently on stage at various shows. There were photos with friends, bandmates, and even an early morning video when she just woke up to do Good Morning America at the crack of dawn.

Kelsea captioned the lengthy post, “This release week has been one of the most emotionally rich experiences of my life. To be able to put out a body of work I’m so proud of and be met with such kindness and connection is more than I could ask for.”

She added, “Thank you for showing up for me and, more so, being so very steady as I show up for myself.”

  Her new single and already a hit with fans. Kelsea co-wrote the song with Alysa Vanderheym and Little Big Town member Karen Fairchild. She recently said it was the first song that she ever wrote where she did not come up with the title first; instead, the opening line "Met him at a party/ Accidentally brushed his body/ On the way to get a drink at the bar" was the first lyric she wrote for the song.
