Massachusetts Family’s Harry Potter Halloween Display Gets National Attention
Harry Potter and Halloween go hand in hand like a black cat and a jack-o-lantern. Do they even really go together on second thought? Plus cats have paws not hands… oh well, you get where I’m going.
A Seekonk family has taken their love of the Harry Potter franchise and blended it with their holiday spirit for Halloween and created a display so special that it’s gotten national attention.
The display has been growing since installation began on October 1st, though the construction started back in July. I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises but many scenes, characters, and situations from the books and films are well-represented. One amazing touch is that Lisa Rossignol, who is known as “mom” around the house normally, will be transformed into Professor Pomona Sprout from Harry Potter to host the festivities and hand out candy on Halloween night.
The family says they plan on keeping the display up through December and fake snow and other holiday touches are planned to evolve the experience to the appropriate holiday on the docket. Check their work out! It’s really amazing:
