Country music stars Jimmie Allen, Lady A’s Charles Kelley, and Carly Pearce reacted to the sudden death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ yesterday (12/14) at age 40.

Jimmie Allen was the first country star to react, and he did so on Twitter. He wrote along with a video of “tWitch” sending a video message to Allen after receiving a cowboy hat, “Stephen (Twitch) my brother, one the best people I’ve ever gotten to know. I gonna miss the laughs, the jokes, the honest conversations, and these random videos. We are gonna miss you. Thank you for your light. Praying for Allison and the children. This hurts.”

Allen quickly followed it up with another post on Twitter. He wrote, “DAMMIT!!!! I can NOT!!! do this today!!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE check on your family and friends. People are struggling.
I’ll catch y’all another day. (peace emoji) Love & Light. Rest Easy, Twitch.”

Carly Pearce also posted a photo and a link to the People story of tWitch’s death. She wrote over the image her Insta stories, “You never know the struggles of someone (heartbroken emoji).”

Lady A’s Charles Kelley also posted to his Insta stories, “So sad to hear about Twitch passing. He was such a kind and talented individual any time we talked on the Ellen show.”

As we reported yesterday (12/14), law enforcement officials say Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, went to LAPD Tuesday (Dec. 13) because she said Stephen had left home without his car, which wasn’t something he’d normally do. According to TMZ, shortly after Holker’s report, police got a call for a shooting at an L.A. hotel, and they found Stephen there, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

If you or someone you know is affected by any of the issues raised in this story, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 800-273-TALK (8255) or text Crisis Text Line at 741741.
