Dierks Bentley Teases New Ashley McBryde Duet
Dierks Bentley is teasing his new duet with Ashley McBryde. “Cowboy Boots” will be out Friday and will appear on his upcoming Gravel and Gold album. Bentley posted a video clip on his Instagram of Ashley singing the new song, which by the short clip, sounds like a heartbreaker.
He captioned the clip, “They were made to count a band off. Two Step Across The Floor. #CowboyBoots… out this Friday with the one and only @ashleymcbryde.”
Fans loved the snippet of the new song they heard. One fan commented, “I’m gonna cry.” Another fan wrote, “From my little corner of Wales, UK, I can’t bloody wait.” One more fan said, “Amazing… counting down the days.”
Ashley opened for Dierks on his recent “Beers On Me Tour.”
He announced the release of his first album in four years, Gravel & Gold, to be released on February 24. Dierks said in a press release about the new work, “It’s been four years since I put out an album, and part of the reason for that is that I wrote and recorded two records that I didn’t feel were good enough and had to start over…twice. I’m going to be able look back on it for the rest of my life and be like, yeah, that was harder than I thought it would be, but zero regrets. I had to get it right. That’s the Gravel & Gold of it all.”
Bentley has also been announced as the performer for the Daytona 500. Both he and the Daytona 500 posted to Instagram, “Come on down, swing on by! @DierksBentley is this year’s #DAYTONA500 Pre-Race Show. “Want to see the pre-race concert up close? Add-on the UNOH Fanzone! Don’t have tix? Grab our UNOH Fanzone + Infield Admission ticket. Use the link in our bio to purchase.”
Dierks said in a statement, “I’m ready to get back to Daytona with all the biggest NASCAR fans. The energy there is unmatched, and I know we will have a blast getting them ready for the race.” Bentley previously performed at the Daytona 500 in 2011. He also performed during Speedweeks in 2009 and at 2021’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Speedway.
