Darius Rucker has announced the return of his music festival "Riverfront Revival" to North Charleston's Riverfront Park. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 7, and Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Darius said, "Charleston's hometown spirit was on full display last year and showed us what a local music festival meant to this community. We know 2023 is going to be an even greater experience for fans. We can't wait to see you there! The 2023 lineup will be announced soon."

Early access presale tickets are available now, with prices starting at $140 for general admission and $475 for VIPs. VIP tickets are limited.

Proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit the Arts in Healing program at the Medical University of South Carolina. Rucker has raised millions of dollars throughout his career for the hospital where his late mother was a nurse.

In November, Darius announced details on a new album that will honor his late mother, Carolyn. Darius said, "At the end of the day, I'm really still just Carolyn's Boy." Carolyn's Boy is the title of the new album project planned for 2023, along with the meaningful cover image, a portrait of his late mother, Carolyn. Rucker continued, "I wanted to name the record Carolyn's Boy because Mom never got to see any of my success. She died before any of this happened, so it's just another homage to the greatest woman I've ever known."

Many country music stars love their sports teams, whether it be basketball, college football, or baseball. And when it comes to the NFL, let's just say that some country stars go all out for their teams of choice.

A native of East Tennessee, Kenny Chesney is a Tennessee Vols fan when it comes to college football, but when it comes to the NFL, he's a lifelong fan of The Pittsburgh Steelers. While he has played Heinz Field (now called Acrisure Stadium) many times, he visited the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp in 2015 to watch his favorite team in action.

Chris, who was based in Texas and played there almost exclusively before hitting it big in Nashville, is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. He was quite happy over the weekend (1/16) when his beloved Dallas Cowboys beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to advance in the playoffs. He was so pleased he posted a video on his socials from a trip to Hawaii to cheer his team on.

Blake loves the Arizona Cardinals and even took his then-girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, to a game in 2015 when they were dating. He always posts on social media about his team, and as they say, "He bleeds Arizona red." The now-married couple went to another game of Blake's fave team in November (2022) when his Cardinals played the Los Angeles Rams.

Darius Rucker is definitely country music's most passionate NFL football fan. He famously said that he has two seasons, "football season and waiting for football season." A lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, he often sings that National Anthem at their games and did so this past September 2021 when the Dolphins played the Buffalo Bills. When he fronted Hootie and The Blowfish, he wrote the band's biggest song, "I Only Want To Be With You," in college when he was so upset that his Dolphins were losing, he started to cry, and his mother called him a baby. Rucker also has his own line of NFL wear.

In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
