Kane and Katelyn Brown Make History With Number One Duet
When Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn sang their number one duet “Thank God” at the Super Bowl Music Fest in Phoenix over the weekend before the big game, it was the first time they performed the song since it went to number one on the country charts. It was the first time the couple performed the song together on stage in the U.S. The song is also the first time a married couple charted a number one song together since Tim McGraw and Faith Hill went to number one on the country charts with “It’s Your Love” in 1997.
Katelyn posted a clip of the performance on her Insta stories and a clip of the couple walking together to the State Farm Dome. Going into the Super Bowl, Kane was rooting for the Chiefs with a Kansas City jersey, and Katelyn was rooting for the Eagles with a Philadelphia top. She also posted to her Insta stories a photo of the couple in their seats and a video clip of the half-time show with Rihanna.
Kane posted to Instagram about the couple’s number one together, “My baby got her first number 1 (Heart emoji). Thanks, country radio, and fans, for blowing this one up.”

Katelyn also posted about the chart-topper on her Instagram, “I don’t even know what to say. There are absolutely no words big enough to express the feeling. I truly thought this song would be just a really cute cut on his album, and now it’s the #1 song. What is even more special is the fact I get to do this with the love of my life, and our baby girls get to watch mom & dad. I melt. My heart is filled with so much joy and gratitude, and I can’t thank everyone enough for the love & support and for loving this song as much as we do (heart emoji). THANK GOD (prayer emoji) xo.”
Many fans reacted to her post, including one who wrote, “So happy and proud of you two. Love this song.” Another fan said, “So proud!! What an amazing achievement!! You guys are so blessed!! Love you.” One more fan commented, “So beautiful. The best song. It is so awesome you give God the glory for your blessings. I admire your Family. Thank you for your vulnerability and for sharing with us.”
