A Popular Boston Bakery Is CLOSED This Week For Matt Damon And Casey Affleck
No bread for you! Tiramisu? Forget about it. A well-known and well-loved bakery in Boston has closed it’s doors, temporarily. The seriously exceptional North End bakery, Bova’s Bakery, normally is open 24/7 for your baked goods cravings. This week you won’t be able to pop in for a loaf, due to a movie being filmed there. This popular Boston bakery is closed for Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.
The award-winning actors are filming a new movie at Bova’s Salem Street location. NECN reports that according to Deadline, the two actors are shooting scenes for an upcoming flick called, “The Instigators.” Matt Damon and Casey Affleck play thieves who botch a heist and go on the lam. In the article, owner Ralph Bova told the Boston Globe that “They’re taking all my showcases out, and they’re putting in their prop showcases, but they still want my food.” Well, yeah… Of course they do. Have you ever had Bova’s bread? So good. So good. So good!
Bova's Bakery in Boston is known for being open 24/7, but you won't be able to get their famous Italian bread or award-winning tiramisu this week because Matt Damon and Casey Affleck are coming to town. https://t.co/JJD4o3K6pe
