Two modern Massachusetts legends in wrestling came together at Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles: John Cena and Kowloon Restaurant. IYKYK. And if you don't know:

The Kowloon has long had a storied history with professional wrestling. It has been a post-match stop for wrestlers dating back to the days of Hulk Hogan and The Iron Shiek. It seems musclemen and women can't get enough of their Saugus Wings and Scorpion Bowls. They even have THIS tribute to some of the wrestling stars who have stopped by after their matches on their website. You'll also see their autographed pictures throughout the restaurant itself.

One wrestler who truly understands the specialness of the relationship between the wrestlers and the Wongs (who own the Kowloon) is Massachusetts' own John Cena, who made his return at Wrestlemania in a losing effort against rising star Austin Theory. I didn't realize while watching that John Cena was wearing some custom Kowloon kicks during his match as a little wink, nod, and respect to the Route 1 staple. Kowloon, however, did notice - and they posted the following proof:

And while we're talking about pro-wrestlers from Massachusetts... and Massachusetts pride... did you know that THESE professional wrestlers also represent The Bay State?

13 Pro-Wrestlers You Might Not Know Are From Massachusetts

I'm a life-long wrestling fan. No, not collegiate or Greco-Roman, I'm not that classy. I'm a life-long fan of the bad-soap-opera-steel-chairs-and-barbed-wire-Jimmy-Superfly-Snuka-off-the-top-rope-the-flashier-the-better-sometimes-cringeworthy form of wrestling and I'm proud of it.

One thing I love about pro-wrestling is the fans' connection with the hometown guys and girls. Many times even if the wrestler is the biggest villain going, when they come home they get a hero's welcome. Boston has always been great to it's hometown stars of wrestling - BUT - some names on this list even surprised me and I consider myself a bit of a pro-wrestling O.G.

Here are 13 Pro-Wrestlers You Might Not Know Are From Massachusetts. We'll start with the most obvious and get more surprising as we go along...
