Experience a Beautiful Easter Sunrise Service on Top of Loon – Ski Down Afterwards!
If you’re looking for a unique and breathtaking way to celebrate Easter this year, you should head up to Loon Mountain in Lincoln, NH. The ski resort is offering an Easter Sunrise Service at the summit, where guests can enjoy a service hosted by the Loon Mountain Ministry, all while admiring and taking in the stunning backdrop of a mountain sunrise.
To get to the top of the mountain, guests can ride Loon’s 4-person gondola, which will be operating from 5:15am to 6:15am on Sunday. The resort is recommending that guests arrive early, as the gondola will stop loading at 6:15am. Once you arrive at the top, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view and a unique and unforgettable Easter service.
After the service, guests can choose to ski down the mountain or take the gondola back down to the base. Skiing down will give you the opportunity for “first tracks” of the day, as guests with ski or snowboard equipment are welcome to ski down a designated trail. If you don’t have equipment or prefer not to ski, you can ride the gondola back down to the base.
For those who want to continue the celebration, there will be a pancake breakfast available at the Octagon Lodge starting at 7am. Please note that the breakfast is not included with your ticket, and an online donation is required to attend the Sunrise Service. The proceeds from the donation will benefit the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund.
Overall, the Easter Sunrise Service at Loon Mountain is a unique and unforgettable way to celebrate Easter and experience the beauty of the mountain at the same time. So if you’re looking for something different to do this Easter Sunday, consider heading to Loon Mountain for this special event.
