Is that an Easter bunny I see, or a bunch of adorable dogs and cats that look like bunnies? Scituate Animal Shelter is located in Scituate, MA. They have been matching animals with homes since 1992. Each year they find forever homes for over 500 animals. Cat, dogs, birds, rabbits. You name it, they've found a family for it.
This Easter, Scituate Animal Shelter dressed up some of their favorite pets as Easter "bunnies." They are pretty darn adorable if I do say so myself! Out of all of these "bunnies," three of them have already been adopted (Dash, Phoebe, and Marge). Baxter and Quizlet are looking for families to take them in and love them forever.
How To Adopt A Pet From Scituate Animal Shelter
If you are interested in adopting Baxter or Quizlet, or any of their featured pets on their website there's a few easy steps.
- Head over to www.scituateanimalshelter.org
- Click on the Adopt/Surrender Page at the top of the website.
- Apply for a specific animal. You can't say you're looking for a "dog" or "cat." You must find the animal you're interested in and send in an application for that specific dog.
- Email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and ask for an application.
- After submitting the application, it's time to meet the pet if the shelter believes you to be a good match.
About the Pets & Pricing
All of the dogs at the shelter are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $360 for a dog, $460 for a puppy, and $250 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old.
According to their website, you can also visit the shelter to see the adoptable pets. Their open hours are on Wednesdays from 1:30-6pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm.
