The City of Boston recently announced the return of the Playoff Hub on Canal Street, near the TD Garden. The street will once again be open for pedestrians, and closed to cars. This gives Boston fans the chance to be a part of the playoffs at home, without having to have tickets. Canal Street Playoff Hub is ready for Boston Bruins and Celtics fans to celebrate. We can all be a part of the excitement right outside the Garden.  Fans can gather before and during the games. And this year, there will even be a beer garden.

During Boston Bruins and Celtics home playoff games, Canal St. will be car-free. Those restaurants/bars that have been approved can expand their outdoor patios onto the sidewalks, per Governor Wu and the City of Boston. The Playoff Hub is free, and open to the public. According to the press release, Canal St will be closed to cars 3 hours before game time and 1 hour after the game is over.

Harpoon recently announced it will have a pop-up beer garden during The Playoff Hub hours on game days. According to the article in Boston.com: "It hosts up to 300 guests looking to pregame in a parking lot in the West End, surrounded by old brick buildings. Bistro lights are strung around the space, and beer barrels serve as tables. Speakers play music, and visitors can also enjoy games, like corn hole and giant Jenga."
