People Were Looking To Party On Marathon Monday And They Found Dillon’s
Party at Dillon’s on Marathon Monday? Yes please!
Marathon Monday, aka Patriot’s Day, aka Red Sox Game Day, aka Bruins playoffs Day. It’s really amazing that Boston has managed to fit in so many iconic events in one day. It all happened today on April 17, 2023. Patriot’s Day commemorates the Battle of Lexington and Concord, which marked the start of the American Revolutionary War. But, Bostonians just know it as the Day of the Boston Marathon.
The Boston Marathon is one of the most prestigious and iconic marathons in the world. It has been held annually since 1897. It attracts thousands of runners from all over the world. The race covers 26.2 miles, starting in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and ending in Boston’s Copley Square. Along the way, runners pass through several historic towns, including Ashland, Framingham, and Wellesley.
For spectators, Marathon Monday is a day of celebration and community (and let’s be honest, drinking). The streets along the marathon route are lined with cheering crowds, who come out to support the runners and to celebrate the spirit of the event. The energy in Boston on Marathon Monday is truly something special, as people from all walks of life come together to celebrate this iconic event. I celebrated this year at Dillon’s again with Michelob Ultra. And what a BLAST it was!
Country 102.5 Dillon’s Marathon Event With Michelob Ultra
For the past four years, Country 102.5 has partnered with Dillon’s on Boylston Street for an all out-partayy. We blare country music on the sound system. We drink, eat, and cheer on the runners who arrive at the bar. It’s always a good time. Here are some behind the scenes pictures.
