Isn't it exciting when you get that first taste of summer in the air? Yesterday we were in the 70's and my daughters and their friends all headed to the beach which put me in the mood to cookout. So when they came home we sat outside and had steak tips and mixed vegetables on the grill - it gave us that perfect summer feel. Well get ready to really feel that summer shine as we head toward temps in the 80's later this week.

Kevin Lemanowicz from Boston 25 News tells us, "the only kind of road block is (Tuesday). The winds are going to turn off the water so that means it's going to be cooler, only in the 60's rather than the 70's (Tuesday). Switches right back on Wednesday, we're in the 70's. Then on Thursday, Friday, and even Saturday - I think we hit 80 degrees."

Wowza! We didn't get to Sunday for Mother's Day but for now it looks sunny and in the upper 60's. Not too shabby for mom's big day.

Massachusetts’ 15 Best Beaches for a Relaxing Beach Day

In Massachusetts we're blessed to have mountains and shoreline. With that shoreline comes many amazing beaches. As an admitted beach bum (shout out Nantasket Beach!) who hits the beach at least 300 of the 365 days a year I'm pretty interested about how they stack up! So I hit up Tripadvisor, threw in a couple metrics, and BAM! here we go. These are the 15 traveler-favorite beaches in Massachusetts. So slap on some SPF40 because you may get sun-kissed just perusing this list.

BTW even though we have all these awesome beaches, New England still has 4 of the 10 Least Fun States in America according to some goons. Click the link for more on that. And now... FUN BEACHES:
