The 2023 CMA Awards show hosts have been announced. Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning will again host the show. The duo hosted the show in 2022. The 57th Annual CMA Awards will be handed out on Wednesday, November 8. The show will air live on ABC and be held, once again, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

Luke told us in a 2022 interview, "What I've learned is: just be comfortable, be yourself, and just walk out there and be yourself. That's the main thing. Be natural, be fun. If you want to go off the script a little bit, don't be scared to. If something in the moment happens or something in the room happens that you want to go down that path for a minute, obviously stick to the script, stick to the show. But don't be afraid to just have fun and relax."

He added, "I think if you're relaxed as the host, then the whole night takes a different shape and form. But Peyton'll do great. He's been in some pretty high-profile moments in his life. He can always call an audible and help me too."

He added, "The thing about co-hosting with Peyton is all gloves are off. We can cut up with one another, have a little fun, and roast each other a little bit. But it takes a little pressure off during the night. Even if I've got a performance, then Peyton can do one of the segments while I get a little more time to get ready for the performance and coming back in and out."

He continued, "But the bottom line is it's gonna be a fun thing to share with Peyton, it's gonna be fun to be backstage, kind of toasting right before we go out, and he's a pro, and hopefully I'm a pro at this point. I still try to be a kid about all this, but I do have to take it seriously now and then. But, yeah, I think having someone else to share some of the duties takes a little bit of the stress of it all being all on me, takes a little bit of the stress away."

On Wednesday night (11/9) in Nashville, The CMA Awards will crown a new Entertainer of the Year. The nominees are reigning CMA Entertainer Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen this year.

As we near the big night for a country music star who will be crowned with the CMA's top honor, we take a look at years past and who holds the most Entertainer of the Year wins for the evening's most coveted prize.

Several acts won the honor twice, including Taylor Swift (2009, 2011), Luke Bryan (2014, 2015), and Keith Urban (2005, 2018). The very first artist to win the Entertainer of the Year awards twice in a row was Barbara Mandrell in 1980 and 1981. The last artist to win the honor twice in a row was Luke Bryan in 2014 and 2015.

The 56th Annual CMA Awards will air live on ABC starting at 8 PM ET.

Alan Jackson (three wins) 1995, 2002, 2003

Alan Jackson

Alan will get the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's 2022 CMA Awards. Jackson won his ETOTY awards in 1995, then repeated the win both in 2002 and 2003.

George Strait (three wins) 1989, 1990, 2013

George Strait

George was at the height of his fame in 1989 and won that year and the next. It wasn't until 23 years later that Strait won the trophy again in 2013.

Kenny Chesney (four wins) 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008

Kenny Chesney

Kenny's big sell-out stadium tours contributed to his winning the Entertainer of the Year Award a whopping four times.

Garth Brooks (seven wins) 91, 92, 97, 98, 2016, 2017, 2019

Garth Brooks

Garth has the most wins in the top category and even took himself out of the running after his win in 2019 because he felt it was time to give the award to someone else.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
