Boston’s Grace By Nia Brings Some Jazz And Soul To Seaport Boulevard
Boston’s hottest new restaurant is right in the Seaport. It’s called Grace by Nia and it’s the talk of the town. If you go on the website, you’ll see that the owner, Nia Grace, is no stranger to Boston’s restaurant industry. “A Roxbury native, venerable community leader, owner of Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen and The Underground Cafe, Nia Grace brings her third concept to Seaport adding vibrancy to the neighborhood. It is a modern-day supper club that puts a new twist on the timeless charm and the decadent aesthetic of supper clubs from a bygone era.” We got a chance to try out Grace by Nia and the restaurant DID NOT disappoint.
First things first, you MUST make a reservation. Right now, there is a wait to get a reservation, even on their “off nights.” So make sure you’re making plans ahead of time so you don’t miss out. When we got there, there was a wait in the lobby for people who had reservations. We didn’t wait long, however. We were brought in and right to our table. Since it is a supper club style restaurant, they have tables and chairs set up on the floor but they also have seats surrounding the stage and tables on the outskirts of the restaurant with TVs so you can still see the action on stage. The menu ” highlights include innovative takes on Southern classics such as gumbo ceviche, green tomato salad, Maryland hot crab dip, country fried chicken and carrot cake waffles, and specialty lobster dishes.” You can see the menu HERE.
The entertainment was top notch! Jazz and RnB took over the stage this night and the music was very entertaining, not to mention there was so much talent.
The drink list is very extensive and you MUST try the Black Gold Part II if you love espresso martinis. This drink has gold in it and is beautiful for your Instagram photos.
Overall, the vibe at Grace by Nia is a MUST see. The staff, the clientele, the food, the entertainment all make for an amazing night out and it’s right in the Seaport. Make sure you make a reservation. If you want to see the must try restaurants in each city and town in Massachusetts, keep scrolling.
