Dr. Frasier Crane is returning to sitcom glory and he's doing the coast to coast move from Seattle to Boston!
Paramount+ released a new teaser trailer hyping Frasier's return and it includes a nod to the city where the titular character returns to start a new chapter in his life: BOSTON!
Of course Frasier is a spinoff of Cheers so Dr. Crane's previous attachment to Boston is well-documented. For the reboot Frasier heads home to Boston to start a new chapter in his life. The Seattle to Boston move is evident in the teaser trailer - Frasier's opening graphic has always featured the Seattle skyline, where Frasier was based during his radio career and the setting of the sitcom. With the move to Boston, the skyline too has changed. You can make out the Prudential Tower and Zakim Bridge in the Frasier logo which is sure to delight local viewers. Check out the teaser here:

The series begins streaming October 12 on Paramount+. And for those keeping track Cheers ran on NBC from 1982 to 1993 and Frasier originally aired on TV (NBC as well) from 1993 to 2004.
The Frasier reboot will debut it's first two episodes on NBC before planning to move permanently to Paramount+, an interesting newer way to launch such a legendary reboot. Do you like this 'debut it on the network then shift to the stremer' technique? Or do you think Frasier should be back on network TV full time?
When Frasier makes the cross country trek to come home to Boston, I hope he's not too disappointed to find out that he's not the most well-known celebrity in Massachusetts. Check this fun list Famouspeople.io has come out with of the most well-known celebrity from every US state, including Massachusetts. Can you guess our most well-known celebrity? Let's see!
Who is the most famous person in Massachusetts? I'm sure everyone will have different answers but only one website has tackled this very question about not only Massachusetts, but every state in America. Now there's really no mathematical equation that went into these findings. It's more so when you ask the average person in each state who they think the most famous celebrity is, what the most people answered. Let's take a look at exactly how each state's famous celebrity was determined.
First, who can be eligible for this? Any celebrity from politicians, entertainers, actors, singers and such. The data is taken from people who look objectively at the celebrity, where they were born and how much fame they achieved in their respective state. And how was this information determined? According to the website, their Methodology is: "The latest data is based on a nationally representative survey of the US population, collected during Q2 2023. Individuals were presented with a series of famous people and asked to identify whether or not they are familiar with them."
So who are the heavy hitters mentioned in this survey? Well we can look at Texas first. The most famous person in Texas is Beyonce who is from Houston. That is for sure an obvious one. There are second through fifth places too (where relevant). In regards to Texas, second place is Matthew McConaughey and third place is Willie Nelson. Three very viable celebrities in Texas for sure. We will list the most famous celebrity in each state below and of course, if you have any suggestions or feel strongly about the answers for any, you can submit changes to us.
