The popularity of Food Trucks across American has increased significantly over the past five years. In fact, IBISWorld reported the industry has grown 7.9%. Best Food Trucks recently highlighted the best cities in the country for food trucks in 2023. Boston made the list. So, what are the Boston best food trucks?

Whether there are local festivals, dedicated parks, or private parties in your region, food trucks of all flavors have been a huge success among those looking to grab a quick and tasty meal. Furthermore, in Food and Wine’s similar feature, they point out that “many trucks offer full meals for under $15.”

The Food Network even has a dedicated show to just Food Trucks. Now in season 16, The Great Food Truck Race showcases nine trucks across the country. The program proves how each truck cooks up a cuisine that is near and dear to them, and emphasizes one of the many things Americans have grown to love about the food truck option. Each of them is different and can offer a menu that is concise, but specific to an ethnicity, style or dessert. Moreover, one of this season’s contestants is from Boston.

Best Food Truck’s feature highlights the top ten cities across the country that have a great and plentiful food truck scene. They were then ranked in descending order. Here is what you need to know about Boston food trucks being among the best scenes in America.

The Greenway and Dewey Square right outside Boston’s south station are two of the most happening areas for food trucks in the city. You’ll find everything from cookie trucks to grilled cheese specialties in the area. Many of the mobile food programs have been in place for over ten years now.

“Boston’s food truck scene thrives on strong ties and collaborations with brick-and-mortar restaurants,” the report concludes.

  • Stanza Dei Sigari - Boston

    Located at 299 Hanover Street, Stanzi Dei Sigari has an ideal location. It was once a 1920’s speakeasy and is right around the corner from the Paul Revere House, a stone’s throw from Faneuil Hall, and an array of delicious North End food. It’s open seven days a week, with an additional room open Thursday through Saturday. They have a fully stacked bar and, in terms of smoke – are exclusive to cigars only. Finally, Stanzi Dei Sigari allows you to bring your cigars but charges a $15 cutting fee. Discounted cigar boxes are sold onsite at a discounted rate.

  • Cigar and Lounge - Watertown

    This experience is all about relaxation. Cigar and Lounge in Watertown has free WiFi and extends an invitation to come in an unwind. They have over 50 different cigars onsite. This establishment opened in 2012 and was started by two friends who were cigar enthusiasts. The “lounge” area has TVs to watch sports via their cigar club LCA affiliation (limited cigar association) and mailing list they have unique and limited-style products like the chocolate cream donut cigar.
