How Much Money Do You Have To Make to Be A One Percenter In Massachusetts

One Percenter in Massachusetts

So, how much do you have to make to be a one percenter in Massachusetts?

ALOT.

Unveiling the Elusive One Percent Club in Massachusetts: More than WHAT to Join?

Yup. Ever wondered what it takes to be a exclusive one percenter in Massachusetts? Well, get ready to have your mind blown because it’s not just about having a piggy bank – it’s about having a gold-plated piggy bank.

Let’s cut to the chase.

To be a bona fide one percenter in the Bay State, you need to be raking in a jaw-dropping annual income of over $900,000, according to SmartAsset.com. That’s right – you heard it loud and clear.

Nationally, households that make $652,657 are considered among the top 1%. They earn more than eight times as much as the median household, which sits around $75,000.

You need to earn a whopping $952,902 to be in the top 1% of households in Connecticut – more than any other state in 2023. Massachusetts ($903,401) and California ($844,266) have the second- and third-highest thresholds for entering the top 1%, respectively.

Now, I know what you’re thinking – “Where do I sign up, right?” But hold your horses, my friend. Making it rain to the tune of $900,000 is no walk in the park. You’ll need to hustle harder than a squirrel during nut season.

Late nights at the office, missed family dinners, and probably even talking to their accountant more than their own family members. It’s a full-on money marathon, and these folks are sprinting while the rest of us are barely crawling.

But hey, it’s not all doom and gloom.

Being part of the one percent club means you’ve got some serious bragging rights. You can casually drop in conversations, “Oh, you know, just being part of the one percent in Massachusetts – nbd!”

So, while the road to one percent glory is paved with dollar signs, there is a road. All you need is that determination, a sprinkle of luck, and the ability to count more zeros than you ever thought possible.

So go on, dream big, hustle harder, and who knows? Maybe one day you’ll find yourself in the heart of the Massachusetts one percent club, living your best life in a mansion that’s more like a castle.
