Luke Bryan Releases ‘Beer In My Hand’ Music Video

Luke Bryan debuted a new music video this week (7/31) for his latest single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.” The video was shot in Springfield, Tennessee, on Free Dreaming Farm by music, fashion, lifestyle, and celebrity photographer Jim Wright.

It flows as a one-take video beginning with Luke getting a flat tire. He then catches a ride to a bar, joins his band on stage and then moves through scenes in and around the bar. Everything wraps with Like going back to join the band.

“But I Got A Beer In My Hand” is one of the fastest-rising singles of Bryan’s career. The track moved into the Top 15 within 11 weeks of its launch. Luke debuted the song for television audiences on the season finale of American Idol in May.

This single comes on the heels of his 30th #1 single, “Country On.” The song closed out the 2022 charts as the final #1 of the year. During his career, he has spent 56 total weeks at the top of the country radio charts. Bryan has also sold more than 15 million albums and garnered 20 billion worldwide streams.

He recently announced an additional tour stop on his “Farm Tour 2023” now set to take place in six cities this fall from September 14-23, and he continues his “Country On Tour” through October 28.

ABC announced last week (7/25) that Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie are returning to the judging table for the singing competition’s next season, which will premiere in spring 2024. Perry, Bryan, and Richie joined the show five years ago when ABC revived it. Fox broadcast Idol for the original 15 seasons.

Hopeful contestants can sign up to audition for the reality competition series starting on August 4 with the return of “Idol Across America.” Contestants can choose a time slot throughout August and September based on their location or preferred musical genre, with more information available here.

When he, Travis Pastrana (a professional motorsports competitor), and some other guys are found stranded by Hubbard, Kelley, and Bryan as a result of the failed dirt bike trick, Kelley invites them to a party in the back of their semi-truck, which is revealed throughout the video to consist of dancing women and beer.
