Luke Combs’ Wife Is Used To Not Sleeping, Due To Young Kids
Luke Combs is on his way to Europe to play a set of shows, and his wife Nicole is home in Nashville. Last night, she took some fan questions on her Insta Stories and talked about her kids, Tex, one, and the new baby boy, Beau Combs, who was born in August.
One fan asked what was harder going from no kids to one or one kid to two. Nicole replied, “Going from 0-1 was absolutely wild and overwhelming for me. The lifestyle change being the reason. Not being able to do whatever whenever (even something simple like shower lol) was something I never really thought about because nobody ever talks about it.”
She added, “If it makes me sound selfish, I don’t know. I wouldn’t change my life for anything. At the time, it was just a shock.”
Nicole said now, with two kids, she is fine. She offered, “Now I’m just in it and used to not really getting any sleep in the beginning. I don’t mind at all because now I know it goes by so fast, too fast. Going from 1-2 has been really easy for me personally.”

Nicole also revealed that having kids has made her not drink much alcohol. When a fan asked what she drinks these days, she said, “After having kids, I just don’t know how people can parent with a hangover, haha.” She added, “I’m not opposed to a drink like a margarita when I go to Mexican or whatever, but I’m not housing them as often anymore. Just on occasion.”
In May, when Combs’s wife took some fans’ questions on her Insta stories, she revealed that the couple lives in a simple two-bedroom home. When a fan asked about the new baby boy’s nursery, Nicole replied, “We currently live in a two-bedroom, so his nursery will be our room until he moves in with Tex.” She added, “I’m not going to make it too fancy since we will be moving in a few years anyway. I shared a room with my sister growing up, and low-key loved it.”
Later, another fan asked why she and Luke live in such a small house, and she replied simply, “We’re basic.”
