Well this is one list we don't want to dominate... but we do. Five of six New England states make the Top 10 worst when it comes to underage binge drinking rates.

Addiction Treatment Magazine published the report, which looked at the number of young people between the ages of 12 and 20 who had consumed an alcoholic drink over the last month and had engaged in binge drinking, described as consuming four or more drinks in one sitting.

As stated above, the results weren't pretty for New England. Vermont was number one on the list, currently having the worst underage binge drinking problem. Vermont was closely followed by another New England state, coming in second worst in the country: Rhode Island. Massachusetts soon followed at 5th worst in the country. New Hampshire and Maine both also finished in the Top 10 worst in the country.

14% of minors engaging in binge drinking in Vermont, 12% of minors in Rhode Island admit to binge drinking, 10.8% in Massachusetts, 9.6% in New Hampshire, and 8.1% in Maine.
