Luke Combs Dons A Kilt During Scotland Show
When Luke Combs performs, he generally wears his standard concert attire: jeans, a black Columbia button-down shirt, and a ball cap (usually black). He doesn’t change his outfits much from show to show. However, when he recently played a show in Scotland, he changed it quite a bit. Combs wore a traditional kilt for the Scotland show to honor the country and his fans there.
Luke just wrapped his European tour and posted images from the trek overseas, which started in Norway on September 30. He captioned the Instagram post, which included a photo of him performing in a red and black kilt, “World Tour: Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England.”
Many fans reacted to hIs photo dump post, including one who wrote, “Scotland loves you.” Another European fan commented, “Best show I’ve been to, by a long way!” One more die-hard said, “I love that Europeans are embracing country.”

In August, Combs announced his “Growin’ Up And Gettin’ Old” U.S. Tour with dates from April 2024 through August.
Luke talked with us about touring stadiums, which he started in 2023. He’s also been touring for years and has learned a thing or two about how to make his fans feel special. He told us, “You know when we’re doing a show like this, whether it’s going over ticket pricing or picking openers or picking cities. I mean, we try to think of them first at every turn, truly.”
He added, “I hope that comes across when they see the show and, when they’re at the box office to buy their tickets, I hope those things kind of come across.”
Combs also told us what it takes to put on big stadium shows like he does. He said, “Oh, it takes a ton of people to put on a show of this size. I mean, definitely over 100-150 folks, and that’s just my people, that’s not including the openers. So yeah, it’s a tremendous, tremendous effort to get these shows pulled off, and very thankful to have the best team in the business to help me do these shows every night.”
