If this time of year provides you with a few additional post-holiday chill hours, then you may be interested in Netflix's best shows of the year. The Daily Mail recently featured the most popular Netflix show streamed in each state. It turns out that Massachusetts agreed with 17 other states in our stream of choice.

The Daily Mail broke down a visual map by Stats Panda that laid out each state's favorite show. This was generated by analyzing detailed Google Trends. Looking at this graphic New England immediately jumps out at you, with Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine all having the same most popular Netflix show. In addition, it looks like Massachusetts and New York are actually agreeing upon something and on the same team.

The Diplomat Is Massachusetts' Most Streamed Netflix Show

What's fascinating here is The Diplomat first premiered just seven months ago. This drama, thriller series stars Kerri Russell and Rufus Sewell.

"Amid an international crisis, a career diplomat juggles her new high-profile job as ambassador to the UK and her turbulent marriage to a political star," Netflix explains.

The northwest part of the country had the same interest as the northeast, with The Diplomat being the most streamed Netflix show in that part of the country as well. Other popular series included Kaleidoscope, The Night Agent, and Beef. All of these programs also debuted in 2023.

Equally as fascinating are the Netflix shows that made a single appearance on this list. For example, Rhode Island was the only state that loved 1899 the most. It appears Utah residents were highly intrigued by more a gossip style entertainment. Harry & Meghan was the most streamed show there.

Lastly, NFL football always takes center stage across America. Netflix certainly knows how to lean into this. Their collaboration with Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions created one of the most buzzed about series of the year in Quarterback. However, this was only the most popular Netflix show in North Dakota and Nebraska this year.

Massachusetts: This South Shore Restaurant Has Turned Into A Holiday Wonderland (PHOTOS)

On the edge of Weymouth, less than a mile from the Hingham border, an Italian restaurant is already bringing the holiday joy. The Venetian is filled with holiday spirit. That is because this South Shore Massachusetts restaurant has completely turned into a holiday wonderland.

Located at 909 Broad St, The Venetian stands prominently upon this main road. Its natural red accented décor certainly made it an ideal spot to turn into a magically themed establishment this season.

On November 1, the restaurant opened its doors and welcomed guests to enjoy a meal seated within a Christmas extravaganza. From the front bar to the more private back room, each area is completely decorated in holiday cheer.

Here is what you will find. Over 5,000 ornaments hang from the ceiling. Fully lit Christmas trees, surrounded by presents, are in the corners of each room. Then, you will find snow-covered polar bear arrangements in the setup in the middle of a few rooms. In addition, the garland is delightfully wraps each beam and banister in sight. Piping into each room, you will hear classic holiday music to further set the tone.

This 2023 holiday season is the first time this popular restaurant is reshaping into what they are calling their "Holiday Pop-Up." The interior decorations took three full days to set up. In total, 15 workers per day worked tirelessly to build, setup, and design this winter wonderland. The fact that the restaurant already had red-colored booths only enhances the look. Inspired by Rolfs in New York City, The Venetian has certainly set the table for their community to have a memorable holiday season.

Management at this fine-dining restaurant graciously opened their doors to us to attempt to capture the magical setting in photos. During our time, guests of all ages walked in for their reservations (which you will need). Each of them had a delighted reaction, usually followed by a "wow" and cheerful smile.

So, let's open the wreath-bearing doors and take a sneak peek at this Massachusetts holiday wonderland restaurant.

Private parties are also hosted in this back room. It is the one area decorated with dozens of wrapped holiday gifts hanging from the ceiling. The evergreen decorated walls had always been there, which in addition to the red booths, further made this a great spot to turn into a holiday themed establishment.
