Get Your Caboose On This Massachusetts Magical Holiday Ride Through A Festival Of Lights
All aboard! Be the conductor of your holiday fun and get your caboose on this Massachusetts magical holiday ride through a festival of lights! Edaville Family Theme Park has long been a tradition in my family. As a kid, I was there with anticipation and glee almost every year. It continued as a tradition with my children. And, I’m thrilled the holiday train ride tradition lives on for so many families.
Massachusetts’ Holiday Train
What used to be Edaville Railroad has come a long way. It’s now the Edaville Family Theme Park, but it’s still located in beautiful Carver, Massachusetts. Edaville has long been a New England family tradition, they recently celebrated their 75th anniversary. In 2022, according to their website, “operations were transferred to a new locally run operating team.” There was a time the trains stopped, and Edaville closed in the early 90s. Happily, it was reopened in the late 90s, thanks to Jon Delli-Priscoli and Brenda Johnson. They added more rides, equipment and attractions. The new team plans to elevate the customer’s experience, while preserving the great history. They use steam locomotives as much as possible, which is such a wonderful and unique experience.
