Keith Urban Teases ‘Straight Line’ On Instagram
Keith Urban is teasing “Straight Line” on his Instagram two years after his latest song release.
Keith shared a clip of the song that is still on his computer in mp4 form. The lyrics to the upbeat and infectious tune include, “Why are we livin’ every day in circles just burnin’ out, burnin’ out?/ I don’t wanna just go through the motions goin’ round and round / It’s taking us down/ I ain’t buyin’ this life’s gotta be such a mutha / oh, ohh cause we kinda got it all when we got each other/ oh, ohh, you and me used to be like a year-round summer / let’s go back, hit the gas!”
Urban captioned the post, “Straight Up – Feb 02.”
Fans love the music. One fan commented, “Love it! And can hardly wait for a new tour!!” Another fan said, “Sounds so honest about how life can take us away from what was. Love it, Keith.” One more fan wrote, “Woo hoo.”
Keith’s last full studio album was The Speed of Now: Part 1, released in September 2020. he has released a few radio singles since, including “Wild Hearts” in 2021 and “Brown Eyes Baby” in 2022.
He told us of the latter, “I love songs that are looking to bring out the best in somebody and bring somebody back to life, you know. The songs that I’ve loved that have done that for me, that give me hope and lift me up and see me for who I can be, those kinds of songs, those kinds of people really, which is what ‘Brown Eyes Baby’ is, and it’s just sexy. It’s sexy as hell. (laughs) I love that song.”

Urban took a moment to congratulate Dolly Parton on the huge success of her Rockstar album, which was released in November and became the biggest album debut of her long career.
Keith posted an image of the album cover on his Insta Stories and wrote, “Huge congratulations to the most crazy-talented, kindest and inspiring icon of icons: @dollyparton. ROCKSTAR album number one in six categories – insane!!!!!”
The 30-track, star-studded collection debuts on top of six different Billboard charts.
