New Hampshire Named ‘Angelic’ in New Study and 6 Funny NH Business Names that Contradict That
New Hampshire’s motto is well known to be “Live Free or Die” but don’t get it twisted – New Hampshire is a good little state, according to a new study by WalletHub‘s new rankings of the Most Sinful States in America.
Leading the pack as most sinful is, of course, the home state of Sin City. Nevada topped WalletHub’s rankings of sinful cities to the surprise of pretty much nobody. The study crunched “55 key indicators of immoral or illicit behavior” to come up with its ranking, breaking them down into categories of anger and hatred, jealousy, excesses and vices, greed and lust – you know, all the deplorable things.
While Las Vegas kept that sinful crown squarely on it’s head, Wyoming finished dead last on the most sinful list therefore making it the most Virtuous, Righteous, Pure, Innocent, Moral, Ethical, Upright, Good, Wholesome, Decent, Honorable, Noble, Pristine, Saintly state in the nation. And coming in second most Virtuous, Righteous, Pure, Innocent, Moral, Ethical, Upright, Good, Wholesome, Decent, Honorable, Noble, Pristine, Saintly state is New Hampshire!! Maybe we should change the motto to “Live Free or Die” to get to know you better. Or maybe “Live Free or Die” to hand out hugs to everyone!
For those keeping track Louisiana, California, Florida, and Tennessee rounded out the Top 5 most sinful, while Idaho, Maine, and Vermont complete the Top 5 least sinful states.
Massachusetts finished as 38th most sinful state. Booooorrrriiiinnnngggg.
Since New Hampshire is the 2nd most angelic state in America I decided to dig up the seedy underbelly of New Hampshire. I found 6 businesses that have names that are anything but angelic! (Please realize that this is all for fun, just a joke, and I actually lived in New Hampshire and loved my time there. Now that I’ve said that I can make fun of the business names, right? Oh good.)
