Massachusetts: Here Are The Boston Outdoor Expo Details
We are halfway through the winter, so it’s fair to start building excitement for spring. In addition, it is also top of mind because many of us are solidifying plans for the next season. In Boston, we have the Outdoor Expo coming up in April to look forward to.
Now that little league sign-ups are complete, and before you jump into booking those summer camps before they sell out, you may want to pause and mark April 27 and 28 on your calendar.
Here Is What You Need To Know About The 2024 Boston Outdoor Expo
This two-day extravaganza will once again be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibit Center. “If you love hiking, climbing, water sports, camping, mountain biking, trail running, or just being outside, you don’t want to miss it,” the Outdoor Expo states.
First, you have to get there. This convention center is located at the BCEC, Seaport area. The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center address is 415 Summer St. Of course if you are within the city or have access to the mass transportation system. The BCEC is steps away from the MBTA’s Silver Line World Trade Center stop or about 15 minutes from South Station. Parking (including valet) is also available in surrounding garages (approximately $25 – $40).
Once you are inside, here’s what’s going on. In short, if it’s an adventurous outdoor experience, you can find something relevant to it. Exhibitors, including camping retailers, hiking gear, campervans, and even resorts like Sugarbush, will have a booth.
After you learn about the latest and greatest gear, why not try some things out. You can attend a trail running workshop, play a little pickleball, and attempt the climbing wall.
Lastly, part of the attraction to this Outdoor Expo is to hear from the professionals themselves. There is an extensive speaker lineup set to take the stage over the two days. For example, adventure climber Kimber Cross is set to speak, as is Cyril Derreumaux, who infamously backpacked around the world at age 25.
Tickets to the Boston Outdoor Expo can be found here. Single-day passes can be grabbed for as low as $10. In addition, weekend passes will cost $25.
