And that last rivalry, the Sox vs. the Yankees, even extends to popularity in the social media world. The 5 cent question we’ll answer in this article is: Which MLB ballparks are most Instagrammable? And of course there’s a study for that. lol
New research from BonusFinder.com compared Major League Baseball’s 29 ballparks in the US by looking at their total number of hashtags (sum of the top three hashtags used) to determine which are the league’s most popular stadiums on social media – aka MLB’s Most Instagrammable Ballparks. And it definitely takes the feud between the Hatfields and the McCoys – err – the Red Sox and the Yankees from the stadium to the socials!
Both the Yankees and the Red Sox have ballparks that made MLB’s Top 5 Most Instagrammable Ballparks – one finished atop the list at #1 and one finished at #5 (which is still pretty dang good). Unconventionally I’ll give you the rest of the Top 5 first in order to build more suspense in that heated rivalry. Consider this the meat, toppings, and sauce of the MLB Instagrammable sandwich. The Red Sox and The Yankees get to be the bread in this strange example. I’m hungry, sorry.
