Dolly Parton: The Gifts She Sent Khloe Kardashian
Khloe Kardashian, who has over 310 million Instagram followers, posted a few weeks ago on her Instagram that she loved the new Dolly Parton Duncan Hines Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake mix, and I knew right then I might have a problem.
That Amazing Crumb Cake
I LOVE the new mix, and more often than I should, I make the Dolly crumb cake at least once a week. I told my husband we better get to the store and buy more before it gets too popular. I was right; that very afternoon, I looked for it at the grocery store, and it was sold out. I did find it later at another store after hitting several of them in the Nashville area on a new quest.

Dolly Sends Goodies
Dolly took notice of Khloe’s post as well and quickly had her people at Duncan Hines send her a package of all the cake mixes and some cooking items featuring Parton. Kardashian posted a photo of the goodies on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I will never get over this. DREAMS MADE!!!!! Thank you!!!! The Queen @dollyparton and @realduncanhines.”

Thanking Khloe
Dolly saw that post too, writing on her Insta Stories, “Hey Khloe, it’s Dolly here: I am absolutely floored that you put my goodies up on Instagram. Who says you can’t have your cakes and eat them too? Or your biscuits or muffins or whatever.”
She added, “I hope you enjoy all of them. I still can’t believe you did that. I love you for it. Hope to meet you one day. Love, Dolly.”
New Family Cookbook
Parton recently announced a brand new cookbook with her sister, Rachel Parton George, called Good Lookin’ Cookin.’ The book will be released on September 17.
Dolly said, “I love good cooking, but not as much as I love my sister Rachel. So, getting to combine the two was a joy beyond belief for me. I do believe you’re going to love all these great recipes, and I think you’re gonna have as much fun reading these stories and things that we put together for you as we did.”
She added, “I can’t wait to get this book in your hands and for you to get this food on your table.”
