You’ll find it all in a tiny town, about 53 miles west of Boston. The Rietta Ranch Flea Market is located in the Worcester Country town of Hubbardston. People have been discovering treasures in this town of about 4,500 people since the 1960s. Back then, there were only 10 vendors. Now, it’s considered one of Massachusetts best flea markets and they can accommodate up to 650 vendors.
It’s grown so much over the years, that Rietta Flea Market is known as one of the largest and most popular flea markets in the Northeast. But, it’s so much more than a flea market.
One of Massachusetts Best Flea Markets Is Open For Business: Hours and Directions
Rietta Flea Market is now officially open for business this season. They just opened and will be open most Sundays through November, weather permitting. They also open up early for those who like to get a jump on the goods, starting at 6:30 am!
There are literally acres of free parking, a full bar and delicious food served at the Rietta Long Ranch Bar. Dig into the “Best Fried Dough,” according to customers. Hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled cheese are all favorites on the menu and you’ll find the prices to be very family friendly.
I haven’t been in quite a few years, but I do remember those grilled cheese sandwiches going down way to easy with a cold beer. This place is as famous for their food as they are the deals on all kinds of “finds” sold by vendors. Thanks to Only in Your State for reminding me of this awesome experience.
