Night Owls Rejoice At New Friendly’s Late Night Menu
Bravo Friendly’s! Even though a few locations have recently closed near us, the company continues to get creative. The latest marketing initiative has night owls rejoicing. A new Friendly’s late night menu has been introduced. And below you’ll find the nearby Friendly’s locations still open!
Considering another favorite late night go-to spot is shrinking, this is a very smart move for Friendly’s. Plus, we have all had those late night cravings. And even though Boston’s last remaining Friendly’s just closed, along with a couple other locations in Massachusetts, the brand stays strong. In fact, there are still 12 locations open within driving distance of Boston, as you will see below.
Friendly’s Late Night Menu Highlights
According to Boston.com, Friendly’s Late night menu was announced earlier this week. Save on some of their signature fribbles, snacks, ice cream and sundaes. The deals start at 8:00pm and are good until closing time, which varies by location. Keep in mind, the savings are only good on late night menu items Sunday through Thursday.
What exactly are the options? As reported in Boston.com, they are as follows:
- A double cone or dish for $4
- A Friend-Z for $5
- A Fribble or medium sundae for $6
- An appetizer or large sundae for $7
Reportedly, the menu items that aren’t covered in the deals are the Jim Dandy, brownie sundae, wings, and Munchie Mania.
My family has been Friendly’s fans for generations. Did you know the first Friendly’s opened in 1935 in Springfield? My parents used to take my sisters and I for special occasions, like birthdays. In turn, I brought my kids there when I needed a break from kitchen detail, after a long day at work. They have always been such a family friendly place.
Now, Friendly’s is working another demographic, perhaps. Teenagers and night owls will love the deals, hours and offerings of the new Friendly’s late night menu.
