Luke Bryan’s Son Wonders What Dad Does All Day
Luke Bryan’s son wonders what his dad does all day. While Luke is known as one of country music’s hardest-working performers, just recently, his preteen son Tate pondered what his dad was doing while he was at school.
What Does Dad Do?
Bryan told us in a recent interview, “Tate last week was like, ‘You know dad, when you’re successful like you, what do you do during the day when I leave?’ Essentially, he’s saying he’s so jealous like, he’ll see me putting on my golf attire, and then the next day, he’ll see me putting some fishing shirt on. He does not understand that I work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and now it’s Monday and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are kind of my goof-off days; he’s just enamored.”
Luke says his sons Tate and 16-year-old Bo know why dad is famous now, but growing up, the boys’ lives were different. He said, “They grew up in it so they don’t know anything other. For all we know, they think that most dads are entertainers and singers. I mean, at one point at my house for dinner, Lady A and Willie Robertson and all these celebrities, they may have just thought that this is what everybody does. They may not realize that some people build cars and computers and stuff like that.”
Confused Friends
Friends of the famous family may also be confused with what Bryan does for a living. He told us, “Caroline’s friends have two daughters, and we only see them on holidays, and when I am off and these little girls they’re looking at me, and they ask their parents, ‘Every time we see Mr. Luke, he’s not really doing anything. He’s just knocking around the house, does he do anything?'”

Bryan recently revealed what he’s most proud of, and it’s not what some may think. While he is proud of his musical accomplishments, what is close to home makes him most proud.
Luke told us in a recent interview, “I am happy through all this. I have enjoyed it, and I’ve enjoyed it with everybody who’s been in the circle of it, including my wife and kids.”
A Real Home
The country superstar continued, “Being able to navigate all this and have a home that feels like home and that’s a real home. To have all American boys doing all American things. I am leaving here (Nashville interview studio) and rushing down to Columbia, Tennessee, to watch baseball games.”
He added with a smile, “I’ve been able to be a big celebrity and live the celebrity life, but I’ve also been able to live as a real human, too, and not have to sacrifice a lot of stuff because I was a celebrity.”
“I didn’t hide in the house and not leave the house because I’m so worried that someone’s gonna want a picture while I’m eating dinner.”
