Boston: Here’s How To Score The Ultimate Red Sox Father’s Day Experience
The baseball Gods kindly arranged for the New York Yankees to come to town for the first time this season on Father’s Day weekend. To coincide with celebrating great Dads, the Red Sox are holding “Father’s Day Out at Fenway Park.”
Fans are encouraged to nominate their Dad to win a free gameday experience at the ballpark. In total, 10 winners will be selected. What do they get? To start, how about two free tickets to the Red Sox vs. Yankees game on Father’s Day. This is a 7:10 pm start, which means it is the Sunday night game of the week. It is the last game of the first Red Sox vs. Yankees series of the year. That’s not all you get, however. Winners will also receive a $100 gift card to the Red Sox Team Store. Lastly, they will get a meal at the stadiums Dell Technologies Club or Aura Club.
Father’s Day coincides with sixteen Major League Baseball games each year. Often, there will be a light blue uniform accent to honor of the day. This year, the Red Sox will select ten lucky fathers for a day out at Fenway Park in celebration of Father’s Day.

Submissions can be made on redsox.com/fathersdayout until Sunday, June 9, at 11:59 pm EST. All entries will then be reviewed by the Red Sox staff. They will then choose the ten deserving fathers for this special opportunity. Winners will be notified by Wednesday, June 12.
This event event gives people the chance to show some love to dad. “To be selected, fans are encouraged to tell the club why their father or father-figure deserves to spend Father’s Day at the ballpark,” The Red Sox press release states.
Is your dad a big Red Sox fan? Or is your dad a Yankees fan who has never been to Fenway Park? Maybe your dad could use a special night out at a ball game. Regardless, fans who feel their father would enjoy this special occasion are encouraged to send in their nominations. Maybe your dad will be one of the lucky ten Fathers who will experience a special Red Sox occasion in celebration of Father’s Day.
The week after, on Sunday June 23, the Red Sox will hold “Out of the Park” at Charles River Esplanade. This is a free event that allows fans to watch the team take on the Cincinnati Reds live at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. This will be via a 16×30-foot video screen in the Hatch Memorial Shell.
Free food and baseball game aimed at fun for the kids will be part of this “Out of the Park” experience.
