My Husband With TSA Pre-Check Left Me Alone In Line At The Airport With The 2 Kids
Hillary and her husband were excited to go on vacation with their two kids. But when they were at the airport she was disappointed when her husband abandoned her and the kids in the TSA line. He has TSA pre-check and she doesn’t so he skipped the line and left them behind. He went to Dunkin Donuts and got them all breakfast, but she still thinks he should have waited in line and helped her with the kids instead.
Check Out Hillary’s Call About Her TSA Pre-Check Dilemma
Jonathan: Today on panic button Danielle, we have Hillary. Hey Hillary.
Danielle: Hi.
Jonathan: So you have a little bit of a problem. Your husband abandoned you and your two children.
Danielle: What did he have to get cigarettes? Carton of milk?
Jonathan: Maybe doughnuts? Sure.
Hillary: So this is at the airport. My husband has pre-check. You know, TSA pre-check. And can just sort of skip the line when he has it.
Jonathan: So Danielle I assume you have it
Danielle: Yeah. I have everything. I have TSA pre-check, Global Entry, Clear. I’ve got all of it.
Jonathan: OK anyway, so he has pre-check.
Hillary: Yeah, he has TSA Pre-Check and its fine. But we went on vacation recently with our kids. We have a six year old and a four year old. When we go on vacation obviously you know we’re all excited about it. But you know, with two little kids there’s a lot of luggage and a lot of things you have to deal with.
Danielle: Hmm.
Hillary: And he said, I have TSA pre-check. I’m going to skip the TSA line, the normal line and just go through pre-check. Do you just wanna make sure you get the kids through TSA.
Jonathan: Yeah.
Hillary: And then he just took off and went through TSA.
Jonathan: OK, I’ll be honest with you. That’s kind of funny. Honestly, I admire the huzzah of it because I would never consider doing that. Kids, come on.
Danielle: That is a dick move. What a mook.
Hillary: It’s so frustrating. I mean it. Because there’s so little, and they’ve never gone through TSA.
Jonathan: Oh my God. They don’t understand what’s going on. And then on top of that, you’re trying to make sure you don’t lose your luggage and any carry-on stuff you have, while also dealing with two little kids trying to line up.
Hillary: Really. You know. Yeah.
Jonathan: And you know, usually TSA’s pretty nice about it and will help you out with corralling the children, but it’s not their job to do that. So yeah. No, it’s horrible.
Hillary: And Logan at 8:00 in the morning, which is really busy during prime vacation time.
Jonathan: Ohh. Nightmare. Nightmare. Logan at 2:00 in the morning is busy. So what did he do? Did he at least help you get your luggage off the conveyor belt and stuff or what?
Hillary: Well, no. He went to Dunkin’ Donuts and said I got breakfast everyone.
Danielle: My God, this guy.
Jonathan: I’m sorry. I love this guy. I don’t know what you’re doing. If he wants to hang out with a 42 year old talk show host at a bar at some point, I would love to just be like where?
Danielle: I don’t know if the stool is big enough for you, buddy.
Jonathan: Where do you get this confidence from? So he went to Dunkin Donuts and just waited for you guys to catch up with him.
Hillary: Yeah. He texted me and I noticed after we got through the line. He said, I got Dunkin Donuts for everyone, and I got coffee for you and I.
Danielle: Uh-huh. Ohh yeah, you better.
Jonathan: Guilty. Sure, sure.
Hillary: I don’t want that.
Jonathan: All right. So that’s the situation Hillary’s husband has pre-check for TSA, and she and her kids don’t because he travels a lot, right? You said that for work.
Hillary: Yeah, he does. He travels a lot for work and it was easier for him and I get it.
Danielle: OK.
Jonathan: Yeah, it’s it’s a great thing to have. So she and her kids don’t have it. He has it. So he gets to travel like it’s still the 90s and he abandoned her and the kids at the TSA line and then just went to Dunkin while she had to corral the kids. Is she overreacting? What would you do if your husband or I guess your wife did this to you?
Danielle: Murder.
Jonathan: That’s what Danielle is calling for.
