Traveling Beer Garden To Hit 7 Boston Parks This Summer
A brewery and restaurant have joined forces and are going on tour like a rockstar this summer. Specifically, it’s a traveling beer garden that will set up shop in in seven different city parks in the greater Boston area this summer. The fun begins next week.
In a city of Boston press release, it was unveiled that “Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department today announced a partnership with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation to bring Alianza, a first-of-its-kind traveling beer garden series, to seven of Boston’s parks throughout the summer with food and beverages for all ages.”
Roundhead Brewing is a local establishment that is originally based out of Hyde Park. Their craft beers are broken into two categories: their core brews and occasional specials. Always available year-round, you will find Berliner Weisse, a Peruvian IPA, Peruvian Lager, and a Double IPA. This summer, they have then teamed with Fresh Food Generation, which is a small business located in Dorchester. They describe themselves by saying, “We combine New England ingredients with bold Caribbean and Southern flavors to create a meal that’s enticing and fresh.”
Their lively and vibrant food truck is as engaging and cheerful as their food offerings. Together, this local brew and bites combination has become what the city describes as “Alianza (Alliance), the name for this beer garden series, speaks to the local business partnership and invites attendees to travel and build community across neighborhoods.”
